I thought I had a really bad year until I saw the last two posts. At least I found a few pieces. That sucks guys.

I guess after looking back through these pictures I did find a lot of pieces, just not a lot of good pieces. This is all from one set of fields around Garrison Ky. Each picture is one days hunt. All of the Flakes have worked edges on them somewhere. This site produces more Uniface Flake Tools than I have ever seen in one place. Every field on this property is loaded with them so you have to check every piece you see. It keeps you on your toes. lol

I really didn't find much else worth posting but I did receive this Necklace as a gift from a very generous person. This just blew me away.

I don't have a display yet for just this year.... If I find something really nice it goes in my main display but these pics are all finds from 2016 ...... Not everything I found but the better stuff I probably take 2 pockets worth of brokes and scrapers every time I visit certain fields.... I am grateful to have found what I did as it seems each year presents different obstacles. I had another fantastic year but to be honest I don't mark my points so have no way to know when I found them . But I do have them all by site here's my newest . I take that back I have photos of every point and date of find so from a quick search this is a mix of the last two seasons . This is a test also playing with new computer system .

Some impressive finds guys or gals. I do my frames by years I have access to a few places and only go to them so there is no need to mark my finds. Hopefully there will be some others jumping in. Thanks

Thank you I have a frame of all crystal from the same site around 200 points give or take that i'm still working on .

Rub it in, why don't you! Maybe that is why my frames are empty, The points are clear and I can't see them laying on the ground. Yeah, that's it:laughing7:

southforks finds look real similar to each other..what...two or three different styles? what does that suggest? perhaps a short time frame from the site? and the concentration of points...what does that say, is it a seasonal camp site or perhaps a really good hunting spot? those clear ones are fantastic, like glass, none better. if you look close i swear you can see the same hand making some of those points, like a signature...now THAT is cool!

I almost forgot my Celt I found. Not in a case but on a table. I had bought a big frame for my hard stone but its to thick and wont fit. Maybe at the next show. One day I might share some of the ugliest pieces I found in the same creek ;)
