Im not from your area but I think its just a nice archaic knife looks like it has some shallow notches

I think you are right rock. I was thinking a cobbs because of its overall shape. Now that you mention it I think this piece seems a little thick. I appreciate the help man.

This is the only Cobbs blade I have ever found but it might still be something else they made quite a few different types.

I would say yeah.Nothing random about the flaking on that piece.
