After a really long week at work I needed to get out and hunt today. I could only stay for a few hours but found 2 nice points some nice scrapers and a bunch of chips.
I'd say for a good hour I was only finding chips than I found the tip of a point.

I saw the edge of what I could tell was flint and looked big I thought for sure it was a killer knife/ blade but wasn't that lucky. It's still a nice flint piece I guess it would be a scraper but looks like it possibly may have been a blade in process that wasn't finished. The edge on this is razor sharp

After the let down of it not being a blade I was really excited to find this flint point about 2 feet away. It is also razor sharp still I believe both pieces just fell out of the bank recently. The point has some really nice flaking on it I took best pics I could but it's really dreary outside so not good lighting.

I also found this point up against the bank kinda stuck into the clay/ mud . It looks like it's older I'm not sure of the material yet it has a nice edge on it but you can tell its worn pretty good.

You have a pretty good spot, not bad for a few hours of looking.Good assortment of material too, would be nice to find a point out of that first pic stone.

Nice finds for getting out. It almost looks like that tip was fashioned into a point. I love that colored material. That first black one almost looks river polished from the pictures, maybe the lighting like you said. Congrats on getting away from work.
