I have older artifacts but I would consider my avatar to be my rarest of finds...it is a white ground slate point probably made by the Red paint people of Maine...3,000-4,000 years old...let's see them mjm...

Looks that's an amazing find , Iv seen pics of it before but wouldn't mind seeing again and I'm sure new members would too. My rarest find I would have to say is what I believe to be a pendant it's a small square made from soapstone and has 2 perfectly drilled holes in the middle. When I get home from work I will post a pic. My favorite find is my axe head it had been high on my bucket list for over 20 years before I found one about 2 years ago.

Here is my top find. It's been posted here before. - I found this clay pipe several years ago in a creek in S.W. Georgia. I doubt I'll ever top it. But, I'm going to keep trying!

This was included in my very first post on Tnet, a postmaster medallion from Germany, found in my back yard in NE Texas. I'm including pics from the only other one I could locate online. It was for sale, in Germany.(Sorry, just realized this thread is meant for Native American artifacts)

Well this is what I consider the rarest piece seeing I have yet to see another. Its a pottery adornment that would of been attached to a pot. Made by hand of course and the research I had gotten and then it ended was there was a big chief that was the king of all tribes in this area I live in and this is his face. Dont know if it is true or not but thats the story I read and cant remember where I saw it at, some place on the net. Not sure if its real valuable but it is rare. I won an award for it at one of the artifact shows. Guess they thought it was special, rock

LOL its a tooth with the full root attached. Found in a cave on Guam.

Thats a very nice one and probably rare. You dont see as many people posting these here on T-net as you do people posting their projectile point finds.

Amazing pieces you people post, I hope to see more. This was found on the front side of a small hill on where all these valleys intersected. You could see a lot from this point. I found a small drill and a piece of the pipe. I started digging around and found around 1/2 dozen drills mixed in with the catlinite pieces I went back many times and found a few more each time. I have never tried to glue it. Definataly rare for me and astonishing to think about. Sorry for the bad pictures. I lost my key to my case and things are sliding. There are some shell pieces from someone making a necklace. That was found down lower in the valley.
