I'm not really into Indian artifacts but on occasion I do find arrowheads and other things while metal detecting I also live a couple miles off the Trail of Tears in Georgia and I found this rock but it just didn't seem like it fit with rest of the terrain it's roughly the size of a quarter =CONFIG]1567353[/ATTACH] 0321181431.jpg

Nothing in pictures that says it is anything more than just a rock.

I find a fair number of rocks in my creek that are very similar to that. I also live in Georgia :)

depending on size and weight it could possibly be a hammering stone since it looks to me like its convex on one side and concave with circular impact marks. Don't take my word for it though, i am very much an optimist.

Ummm, the poster said it was about the size of a quarter.

Ya gotta look at the words, not just the picture.

I am more of a realist.
