I have seen multiple points still attached to the same core of flint/quartz It could also be what is called an eccentric point.

Moving to our Indian artifact forum for more knowledgeable collectors to give their opinion. No matter what it is a nice point.

I believe it is complete to. I think they liked it so much after so many resharpens they just couldnt use it anymore and then tossed it for you to find

Good chance im wrong but it looks similar to some Tang knives ive seen. I think ive read here that they were used to remove knubs or nodes from select wood material for various reasons.
