Where are they from? Not sure on the Rib Bone, but the others are all natural.

Well., yeah im not sure about the shells, or the bone, but im 99% sure the others have been used, i had "big guys" from pa state museum confirm that, its all about location!!! My finds aren't just random rocks from a random creek all came off a site i had registered w/the state as an actual site, like a 1/4x1/4 sq mile area , that it , PLUM LOADED! honestly I have a theory about Clovis being at/around/using this site on way from Meadowcroft to Paleo Crossing a co. Was building so all the prelim state test pits were taken , & lol they only found a handful of flakes �� ���� , so after the dozers skimmed the plow line off , they hit this layer of idk " moon dust" ,, just fluffy good dirt, that was VOID of all / any "natural" (unworked) stones /rocks , at one point everything you could see after 1st rain was an artifact! Dozers clipped 4 fire pits in row deep! Below plow line, was 14-24inchs down, in virgin soil, just above the bedrock outcrop on this bluff/saddle, it was UNREAL! for me anyway, so yeah the site is burried now so all my earlier finds came out of that " moon dust" layer. So now

Seems similar to where I am in MA with the bedrock outcrop and tool style. Do you think something was quarried there?

Shells are just broken shells. May have been broken to get to the meat but not used for tools.

The stone looks natural. Find them all the time in Illinois . Appears to be glacial scars. The shells could be a midden site but too hard to tell. Museum guys will base it on what they know but there is always more to the story if they are not at the dig site. One thing I’ve learned is that without a lot of context info, a picture will only prove partially useful. Need to find points or pottery that can help give a site more merit.
