Found this nice jasper piece thought it was just a flake but it’s worked really nice on the edge I think it’s a broken knife

Looks like a great day all the way around. Sure like to see your riverbank shots and general area pics, that bank looks good.

Lots of interesting material in your area. That yellow and red jasper looks like the types I see out west. Is that glossy black one obsidian or high quality flint? Gary

Too hard to age without additional context. Triangles could be a few hundred to several thousand years old. Where were they found?

High quality flint , there’s some really nice black and grey flint around here.

Found in Maryland ( eastern shore ) more than likely it’s a Susquehanna triangle from Mississippian period

I would hazard to guess that the top point with the broad ears that extend beyond the width of the point, would fall into the Hellgrammite to Meadowood styles, and time frames. I don't see a lot of Hellgramites as far south as we are, I think they are more prevalent up into PA. Good eyes on that jasper piece with the fine pressure flaking on the edge. it sure pays to pick up every suspect piece and give it a good close look!
Glad you were able to get out, and hope you get some nice low tides to hunt this fall & winter.

Sometimes those triangles are hard to figure out as the which corner is the business end also I wonder at times if they arent scrapers of some kind. You had a great hunt and adventure.
