Found in a overhang on my property. Any info is appreciated. Brand new to digging. It was 18 inches below the dirt and on the outer edge of the overhang. North Alabama area.

Nice scraper, possibly a thebes. Could have been a thebes point that broke so they made a scraper out if it.

Nice find , bound to be some more artifacts in there , I have watched some good videos on you tube of people digging overhangs there’s a guy that finds some really nice stuff and shows the process I’m pretty sure his videos are under Flintobsessions

Dig all you can get to ,on the outside as well as inside , most places had free roaming hogs through out the years that stayed under these overhangs ,rooting out alot of good stuff. some of my best stuff came from the outside under everyone elses dirt.

I will remember to take my phone with it me and get some pictures. Got rained out, nothing but mud. it's been dug before and they only dug the inside. I'm finding this stuff under their sift dirt.

Think they used the big one for paint or is it natural?
