I was going through some stuff I had boxed up, so I thought I would show some of it. I cant wait to get back out when the weather and work schedule permits.
These wont be goin to a rock garden, I did cull through a bunch of stuff and I came up with about a 5 gallon bucket full of stuff that is going to one. These are the best ones and you would have to walk a long way to find many better around here. Almost all of them you find here are made from chert or flint nodules, or quartz.
Nothing wrong with rock gardens Quito, im starting me one. Im not going to put my best pieces in there though. I like some of these hammerstones as much as nice points and im setting up a room to display them, so they wont be in boxes or buckets. I bet you have a real nice rock garden though, you aught to post some pics of it. I will when I get mine set up.
I’d love to take a picture, but all we can see now is snow. That last pic is a portion of it taken months ago though.
Our hammerstones are pretty much non-descript, and from many different materials, much different than yours appear.
