I was going through some stuff I had boxed up, so I thought I would show some of it. I cant wait to get back out when the weather and work schedule permits. 0120191358.jpg 0120191358a.jpg 0120191358b.jpg 0120191402.jpg 0120191401.jpg

Nice!

You could start a rock garden of them!

what is their average size?...Hard to tell without nothing to compare to.

These wont be goin to a rock garden, I did cull through a bunch of stuff and I came up with about a 5 gallon bucket full of stuff that is going to one. These are the best ones and you would have to walk a long way to find many better around here. Almost all of them you find here are made from chert or flint nodules, or quartz. 0120191909.jpg

Hmmm. What’s wrong with a rock garden of artifacts? I have plenty of them in mine.

I bet they would show better there than in boxes or buckets.

Nothing wrong with rock gardens Quito, im starting me one. Im not going to put my best pieces in there though. I like some of these hammerstones as much as nice points and im setting up a room to display them, so they wont be in boxes or buckets. I bet you have a real nice rock garden though, you aught to post some pics of it. I will when I get mine set up.

I’d love to take a picture, but all we can see now is snow. That last pic is a portion of it taken months ago though.

Our hammerstones are pretty much non-descript, and from many different materials, much different than yours appear.
Here are two I just happen to have laying around the kitchen

Those are nice hammerstones, especially some in the garden. They are definitely different than what I find here.
