Went and checked out a new field a couple weeks back. It was pretty cold so I had to do the coveralls and face mask but it ended up being well worth it. (I've never posted on here but figured I'd start)

Part of it is a Hell Gap site I found (1 nearly full point and 3 fragments) and a few others are Folsom preforms. 20190115_122533.jpeg 20190115_122552.jpeg 20190115_122647.jpeg

:hello: Welcome to TNET!

Really nice pieces there! :icon_thumright: It looks like by what you are finding is an piece of ground to hunt. My guess is that your site is not too far from the Missouri River.
That KRF is always a welcome find. I have found it over near where my grandparents settled in north-eastern Montana. I have also found a few artifacts here in central Montana made with the KRF material.
Thanks old digger! Pretty much everything I find is near the Missouri River.....the stuff is everywhere if you know where to look. It's funny how far away from ND a person can find KRF.....superior stuff!

Here is the largest point from that picture. It's a Hell Gap, 10,300 years old, at just short of 3". Stem edges are heavily ground and there is a good impact fracture along one blade edge, which may also be an intentional urination but it's hard to tell. 20190115_143459.jpeg 20190115_143505.jpeg
