Raining all day so I was cleaning the dust off my collections. Thought I'd share a few pics. Some of it I probably showed before so sorry if redundant. My silly new kitty had to get in on the action!

Very fine group of points. You have some real dandies. What is the long eared piece that is in 3rd pic bottom row second from left? Not familiar with all eastern types.

Some killers in there , the blades in the second pic are unreal especially like the 2 tone blade. It would take me hours to clean the dust off cause I would be picking up every piece and admiring

You have a very superb collection! :icon_thumleft: Especially like the bi-colored one in the second frame.

By the way, at first I thought that it was a deer or antelope hoof until you mentioned the cat.

The long eared point was my brothers. I have all his finds after he passed. It's from Texas or NM from what I remember him saying. Sorry, I have no story on it.

That's funny! Before my eyes focused I thought the top right of the first pic was a Huge spear point with black tips...lol

Love this collection!!!

He's a rescue kitty. A friend found him living under a construction trailer in N Tampa. We drove 2 1/2 hrs to get the little bugger! Now we have 3 cats! Don't know why the pics are sideways. If someone knows how to fix it please do! Also my big guy Siamese Murray.

Nice Kitties! I have five. Only two I selected myself. The others I "inherited". My brother died in 2010 and Smokeythecat is the avatar. My daughter moved from Montreal to California in 2017 and I got her two very old cats, but they like me!

Where's the point that's in your avatar? Gary
I have it in a frame by itself. 20190128_190259.jpg
I bought it from the finder. He found it in a load of fill delivered to a constuction site. The material is very chalky which happens to Florida points that end up in a dry, well drained place. Ditto for fill dirt. Not shiny like most Florida points. I have a frame of chalky white points from different areas. A lot of collectors soak them in mineral oil.

Ohio hardstone. Pipe from near Murphysboro, Tenn.

Oh man murfreesboro ,tn you are getting close to some of my stomping grounds. I think "Jamey" hunts there also. Very nice display. How could you ever get tired of looking at all that eye candy!
