Please post your piece if you have one.
For me, this ground arrowhead would be it. Itā€™s not of a material strong eneough for a functional point, and was likely ornamental. Wish it had the tip. I often wonder if there wasnā€™t a suspension hole. There is no sign of one at the break tho.

This is by far one of the best artifacts that I've ever found. Some you fellows that have been here a while remember me posting it several years ago. For the newer members, I found this platform pipe in a creek here in Southwest Georgia. If you look at the back of the pipe you can clearly see that the buzzard is holding a human head. No imagination is required for this one. I don't think that I'll ever top this one.

One of the finest pipes ever found I dare say. Remember you posting this, was wondering about it from time to time what become of it.Top of the pile artifact for sure.

Thank you. I still have it and it occasionally goes to the local artifact shows with me.

These are not rare but I found them all together in a cache in Portsmouth, Oh. I was stoked for weeks!

Yeah Iā€™d say thatā€™s rare even for a cache thatā€™s a lot of blades .... I canā€™t imagine how cool that must have been .. did you have a camera with you I would love to see how they came out

No, I found them in the late 70's. No phone cameras and working so no camera period. They were all found in a small area.

Probably this old pipe. I found a preform one, just like it that was not drilled. Six years ago. I think the drilled artifacts are the best. Its a different feeling when you find a drilled hole.

It's hard to pick, but among my favorite was probably this cache of pottery. The bottles and bowls were found basically like this, the small little figurine was about 6 inches above the cache. including the lid and some shells, there were a total 12 pieces of pottery in the cache.

I've found hundreds of points, but only found 1 of them with with my metal detector. So that makes it rare for me.
