I like it! It's probably not so much an arrowhead, but an archaic knife. Those in this condition are actually harder to get than an arrowhead. It's probably from the archaic period, the longest time frame for North American artifacts.

Dfinitely a Blade or Knife and not an Arrowhead or Spearpoint. Arrowheads and actual Spear, or Atl Atl Darts, are on the smaller side. Less than 2 inches for the most.

Did you find it or buy it? What state is it from?

As the Grim Reaper said above we need some information on where it's from, how you acquired it in order to make a reliable ID.

I'll go out on a limp and say the point is from the Missouri area and is an Etley knife (Wadlow). These are either preforms to finished Etley's or often used unhafted as pictured here. My gut says northern MO or southern Iowa.

Sedalia maybe. But, you have the OVERSTREET guide open in the two photos you posted. Where is it from and what type do you think it is?

The blade is from Missouri. I bought it at an auction. Thank you for the help everyone!
