That's what I'm thinking but being still a novice at this I don't want to take any chances of throwing away a find.

Any differing opinions?

Looks like a little cast off from point manufacture...worked, but not a point or broken point.
Pretty material though.

Tiz a spall, debitage (as atlantis suggested).

Bulb of percussion is broken off, but the compression rings and path of force is evident.

I flintknap, and have to agree as well, as seems so do others. I have buckets of spalls similar to that (although from myself when knapping) although I have found a few in the streams in the Midwest as well where there are a lot of other points in the area. Find that one, more than likely some other worked material nearby... keep looking for more, they're more than likely close by.
