Id go at least take some courses in navigation and see if there are any signs of movement to another location from Oak Island. Thats obvious from the series that has been discovered so far, that there are clues to something other than just the pit itself.

TRUE! The ALIENS did IT! "Clues" were left in RECENT Crop Circles!
Hey I know what's in the hole at Oak Island....Forrest Fenns treasure and I've heard Bigfoot is guarding it. He is surviving by eating bones of Knights Templar skeletons.

No doubt. But all those logs couldn't have placed themselves there, could they?

just like an elevator stops on each floor,

imo the Logs were placed by another Treasure Hunting Crew many years ago.
probably as a way of keeping the hole from collapsing on them.
it would also give them a place to store there equipment, Rest, etc more Comfortably as they move on.
(the logs also mean the original hole may have been much larger in width
in order to use them as levels and still move up & down comfortably from one side,
if that was their use)
or maybe each winter break they would put a Level in . and go home.

Of course are these levels fact or legend ?
how old were these logs ?
and could it have been a Mine ?

I just can't see that depth, expense & time being put out to hide anything short of
a Nuclear Bomb that was clicking down. and you wanted to muffle the
sound and damage. and automatically pour water on it to cool it down after the explosion.

However Curiosity and the Promises of Wealth beyond our Imagination
will obviously get us to Dig those depths at all the investors costs :laughing7:

think of it this way, you have a Vast Treasure you want to Hide.
You dig a Mile Down You boobie-trap the Hole so if someone tries to get in
it floods the place & makes it impossible to retrieve the treasure ?
even for you ?

also are you expecting to live forever or at least several lifetimes to see the Treasure buried, re-dug and used for what ever purpose in the future ?
or are you confident the truth & memory of what & why will live on ?
even a rumor gets distorted after the 3rd. person tells it

The only other possibility I would entertain, it if it is much older
and a elevator to a multi-million year old underground City.
But I don't think The Logs are Petrified so that's out.

again.. I do believe there is something of Value lost or hidden on the Island that is worth finding. and I do believe by the end of season 2
they will produce one more Surprise, in order to
try and convice Producion to Finance season 3.
but I don't believe the pit(s) has anything to do with a hidden treasure.

Well, that's an explanation of what it could be.

Okay, I have to ask a guestion that no one is asking. What about a "Time" factor? I mean how long did they expect to leave whatever is there, there?

Okay, to the idea of something actually being placed in the ground of value what would have been the planned durration of it stay? Were they planning on coming back or did they just decide that there job there was done? The pit was put there for a reason, was it created to hold something or was it created to make people think there is something there? It's one of those two...which one? Any thoughts?

Why not bring in a very large track-hoe and start digging the sides out of the pit with the new sides having a long, low angle path so that equipment could be brought down to the lower levels. Go down to the deepest level. When the drainage tunnels are encountered, plug them with materials up inside, then seal the end of the tunnel with reinforced concrete. Too much time has been spent just going down the holes as they exist. It would be cheaper to just excavate out the entire site. With today's heavy equipment and technology, this would be an easy task. To continue "dumpster diving" down the same holes is insane.

COULD be just like a CROP CIRCLE... it is JUST THERE! "Legend" stated something about LIGHTS seen above/on the island... with a CIRCULAR impression found; Flying Saucer/UFO "event"...?

So the boys found the "circular impression" and started digging there; down & down they dug.
Finding the tree, near-by... they put up block & tackle to go DEEPER, storing up the "side-walls" of the "money pit" with Oak logs... then the water came in... WHAT TO DO! Find the source of the water... etc.

Yeah, the legend has it the McGinnis had seen green lights on the island the knight before they went to the island. Could be explained by the lights from a lantern being filtered through the foliage. Circular impression due to the ground settling with the additional weight of the flat stones. UFO's, extraterrestrial visitation....well, it would prove the ancient alien theorist on the contents of the "Ark of the Covenant" not being of this world....Providing it was there in the first place....Maybe ET took it home with him.....

Except I just got an update on the Season 2 discoveries.

Trove Recovery and Mining Specialists with Finder's Keepers have given the Lagina Bros a shot at something more than rumors.

They were in contact with them about the clues and were led to the marshy swamp next to the money pit. The theory was that there was something in the swamp was kindled by the fact that there had to be a campsite set up for the men to work the pit.

So far over 100 artifacts have been recovered from the swamp area, as they were advised to take the scanning equipment over the iced-over water, to scan more thoroughly.

So far nearly 80+ have been delivered to the museum in Halifax....Some are in a special solution I am told so it is important and will lead to the identity of the builders Im sure.

Get ready for some good Season 2 stuff.

What they found will answer a lot of questions . If they have artifacts in special solution then what they found was found in water and I would bet they are working the swamp area. We are still working in the Nova Scotia area and we hope our finds and what is found on Oak Island will bring more answers. Its about time
