And where was the prime meridian determined to be in that year? It was not officially established at the current location (Greenwich, England), until 1884. The earlier Portugese standard was through the Madera Islands. Other navigators used the Vatican (the center of the Civilized World, after all), Axis Mundi at Jerusalem (the center of the Universe, after all), or their starting point (sensibly), so it was relative to where the ship left from and started their log. And until Harrison perfected his chronometer in the 1770's it was near impossible to take an accurate longitude away from the prime meridian or starting point.
Actually, the British were using (Greenwich, England)
as the "Prime Meridian" during the 1700's. And true on being inaccurate that's why I said it should be shifted east. Remember I said it was George Anson that had it commissioned and he was believed to be a "Grand master" which he would have access to paper left by grand masters before him. And I am not much on coincidences but the "Stone Carving" in Overton, Nova Scotia is just west of a town called "Arcadia" Nova Scotia....

Not being familiar with that carving Eldo, could you explain the time period and location please.

Northern France, 17th Century Construction

Templar Masons were not knights, so when the Knighted men were slain, 54 of them, the rest were sitting there watching and knowing they had to convert and keep the faith in secret

and just because someone took your sword, doesn't mean they stole your hammer too

these men went on preserving these faiths and skills, but they were eventually absorbed into different courts as kings favored their work so their order didnt disappear, it became more founded as a central styling of Architecture in these later ages.

The orders that were clearly formed later, the Scottish Rites, and the York Rites, became founded from the knowledge these men left behind in form, in their texts and in buildings. They invented this all.

The Freemason's were another lodge that formed simply because there were too many in their Grand Lodge in London that were tied up in Parliamentary affairs and were not as willed by the spirit as others were. They formed the lodge here with the blessings of many of the French and English masons, and were very loyal to the crown.

In essence, things were done in the name of the Crown for years without the King actually signing a document, so they believed in the divine lineage
