The Fort Salem Chapter of the Ohio Archaeological Society is sending this reminder letter out to anyone interested in attending the Ripley, Ohio artifact show.
The show is being held on Sunday Feb. 15th, 2009. The Ripley Show is widely regarded as the premier yearly event in Southern Ohio. The show is at the Ripley High School on U.S.52 in Ripley, Ohio. The exact address for mapquest is: 1317 S 2nd St, Ripley, OH 45167 The hours will be 8:30 am to 2:00 pm (for the public). Displayers can set up at 7:30 am. The Fort Salem Chapter passed a motion to make admission free this year in the hopes of garnering enough in donations to pay most of the expenses.
If you are planning on attending, tables for selling are $12.00 a piece (8ft table). As of 2/11, I have sold 103 tables and only have a few left. Please contact Jon Dickinson @ 513-509-7420 or email “[email protected]” to make reservations or if you have any questions about the show. We are looking forward to having another great show.
Last year was our largest and most successful show in our 16 year show history. We filled 110 tables, had 2 $250 raffles, filled many bellies with great food, enjoyed thousands of great rocks, and generally had a really good time. Don’t miss out.
