Marion, Ohio - Requires a signed permit, which you can get from the Parks Superintendent. The permit must be carried with you at the city parks and expires every 6 months.
Delaware, Ohio - No permit required for city parks at this time. Per the Parks Superintendent: "We do not have any policies or require a permit to use metal detector’s in our parks. We do however ask that the areas disturbed are left in the same condition as they were found and that there is no digging to be done on the athletic field’s. If you need anything else feel free to contact me."
Ohio Wesleyan University - Only surface metal detecting allowed. No digging. Per Buildings and Grounds.
