    shenadoah blimp crash pics 1920s

    found these pics in my wifes dads stuff, thought i share them this site is in eastern ohio on 1-77 south between cambridge and marietta ohio

    HIO Daffy: The Shenandoa and her sister ship were Zepplins, owned by th US Navy. Both crashed withn a short period of each other ending the navy's interest in Zepplins. They did bevelop blimps for anit sub patrol use.though.

    thanks for the clearification.this particular ship crashed during a storm. the crash site is a field that can be seen from the interstate. the land owner has marked the place with concrete blocks . ill try to get a pic of that btw its duffy....lolololo
