Anyone here do any nuggetshooting around Sumpter,OR? I'm not ready for winter yet, someone please tell me to stop being such a wuss and get out there while there's still time...

hey! stop being such a wuss and get out there while there is still time! lol I have not done any nugget shooting in the area although I did some highbanking not far from there and got a few pics in the area while I was there! From the temp in the pic you will see it was a different time of year! lol

I have heard theres alot of dump areas up there but gold is hard to come by..

Haven't done any detecting around there YET. Have done some basic research in areas closer. Need to try to get out more also to follow up. Maybe should connect sometime... At least hit Pioneerville. In Mt Home. Snow flys soon!
