    Processing fine placer silver.

    hi all
    i have this fine placer silver , how do i processes it so all i have is silver, can i melt it, i dont want to use mecury.

    Nice Silver, How many ounces?
    most native silver has a good percntage of Gold, might pay to send it to a refiner.

    dissolve it in nitric acid, filter it and drop the silver with copper plate.(its actually pretty simple with quick results)
