Hey ya'll, new guy here, just hoping to make some new friends and meet up with any Mi. locals interested in meteorite huntin and as well as locating and recovering native element metals of value, ie; Au, Ag, & Cu. I hunt here in Mi. and travel as far as NV, and AZ twice a yr. My rock huntin camps are always a hoot!

Welcome Rockhunter. I'll not likely see you way out here in northwest California, but you should find some fellow searchers with thing big range of areas you cover. A good camp is one of the greatest parts of our fun in the outdoors.

Thanx Mike, ya, don't know if'n I'll ever git to hunt in Ca. as much as I do know of a dry lake in So. Cal's Mohave where CK-4 cabonaceous chondrites can be found and those are rare. And I do have several personal friends in AZ from Dolan springs to Morristown. I'm also a "Nugget Shooters" forum member as well and thats my primary method of contact with them fellers out thata way, but you never know, we could cross trails some day, nothin's impossible, but thanx again!
