nice!.....i have about a bazzilion pans, and my go to is the 15" garrett super sluice pan. love it

No worries. Gold is a difficult item to get a decent shot of. Besides,
fixing a pic now and then keeps the skills sharp.

Next time, step a bit further back so the gold will be in focus, and rather
than use flash put it under a lamp and shoot the pic away from the glare.
No guarantees, but it might help.

Congrats on your first pan. Looks like you might have quite a bit of gold in there. If you can pan all the debris out you can get a better look. Post that pic, we would like to see a total.
