Newbe! Whatt equiptment is needed Cheapo

I haven't started yet but am getting the itch. I need to know what all equiptment you need besides
A Garrett starter kit. I am planning on going to the "Uwharrie Ntl. Forest " in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
It is the closest place to me ,( about 175 miles) in NC.I have read the story in Aprils Lost treasure
which is very helpful. Are there certain name brands of equiptment i need? I have been watching the
videos etc. and that is pretty much my knowledge base at this point. Any help greatly appreciated.

I know what you mean. Bought a pan once with so many riffles there was gold all over the place. Gave it away. Keene 3 in1 pan for me. Seems best at putting most of the gold in a pile. I'd like to get or/try a Garrett SSluice.

I love my Super Sluice Pan! I still like my 14" Garret, but man you can run a lot of material through that super sluice! Just scratch it up with an SOS pad and some dish soap and it's ready to go! (dish soap cuts the oils that make tiny gold float)
