    Too much to save

The other day went to my local branch to get $500 cash ( big bills ) for my trip around town for dime boxes. What I got back were 5 consecutive series $100 bill star * notes in crisp BU condition. Could not keep them, only wish they were $1. Just think that those came from a $10000 strap of $100 notes all star notes.

It’s a little late for a reply but maybe this will help for next time.... I had a similar experience a couple of years ago. I got 20 consecutive 2009 $100 FRN star notes in CU condition. I took them to a very large LCS and got $2-3 apiece for them over face. No idea what a ‘good’ deal would have been for them but ~$50 free seemed good enough at the time. I actually got the $50 value in silver melt.
