County bicentennial committee is looking for writers

Attention writers: The Schuylkill County Bicentennial Steering Committee needs your help.

Committee Co-chairman Michael McCord, county register of wills, said Friday the committee will host a meeting at 6 p.m. Nov. 17 in the Historical Society of Schuylkill County quarters, North Centre Street, Pottsville. It is geared toward writers and others willing to work on the publication portion of the county's 200th anniversary celebration in 2011.
