Welcome to Tnet! My wife still uses a GTA-1000 I bought her a newer detector but she loves her older machine and does quite well with it too!

not new to the hobby thats for sure but newbie to this site. that gta 1000 worked great for me for several years, infact it still works great and looks new still. really the only difference between the 1000 and the 1500 is the 1500 has the target sizing(which is a big help).
thanks for all the welcomes and happy hunting

I too am returning to the hobby. I had a White's XLT but have since down-sized to an ACE 250 with no regrets! I find more with it and its lighter to swing. I think Berks County should form an historical recovery club.

Stand up for what's right, even if your standing alone.
