on the outside chance Renningers, Orwigsburg

I wonder if it was the Red Church Picnic Grove
in West Brunswick. the church dates back pre Revolution (1700's)
& was burned by the Indians.

But I'm pretty sure landingville area had grove in the 1800's also

Fort Lebanon in the area Would have been sending out Soldiers in the area in the 1750's also

I looked at them same passages after your post....fort Lebanon stuck out to me as well....was also thinking sculps hill area.....I'm def gonna try and research this more

Did they ever find out the exact location of Fort Lebanon....i read articles online about archeologists digging up a farm, but found no evidence

There is a member here who claims it is on her Property.
I haven't seen her on in awhile Though. she deleted her posts after I believe certain members (not Me) started stopping by or trying to stop by her place. to try and detect. I also believe she was wrong on the location.
I believe it was on Top of this Hill to the Left.
so it had a Commanding View. you don't build a fort where indians can sneak up.




Fort Lebanon was east of Auburn &
somewhere in Here


Possibly Straddling the road
as the spring is on the South Side behind the stone monument.
but the area on the south side is too small for the whole fort.
the north side sits higher also.

..those rock walls and that area looks like it would be a perfect spot....nice open field....
.....i think it was fort lebanon though, i have to dig through what i saved on my laptop....i was researching it because its closer to me and i travel that way alot....i was looking for other spots along the route of the fort where soldiers may have traveled....mostly in wooded areas
