I asked about the lake at work today. And talking to someone who has the connections and knowledge says it is now scheduled for August.

As I hear more I will post.

the other day I said to 4/DB they will Probably wait till winter again
then use that for an excuse to put it off another year.

Stopped by & Equipment is there

I may run out sunday but it's doubtfull they will get far in 2 days
yesterday and today. they are probably off till monday
after today if they even started.

I agree, they usually don't move very quickly. I know I can't get up there today or Sunday but next week would probably work. Maybe I'll wait until say Wednesday and waste some gas just to see.

DKinPA ; Mike in Berks & I spent this morning there

The Dredging has started But They are not all the way down yet.
Still finding aluminum cans at Arms Length.

And Swinging in thair Tracks ain't easy with a 15" coil.

Let Us know how it looks Wednsday (Pic's If you can )

I'm Shooting for Sunday August 3rd. for my next try.

Almost forgot.
Found it still soaking while cleaning up around here.

Besides Golf Balls DK & I Picked up,
and a dozen Mems & a Dime I found.

just got a phone call from DKinPA

He says nothing is moving out there
and place looks the same as last Saturday.

So what ever the Hold-up is,

May be a couple more weeks.

Sediment removed from Deer Lake

DEER LAKE — The borough’s drained lake is getting closer to being refilled as contractors continued removing sediment on Tuesday.

William Guers, owner of Guers Topsoil & Mulch Products Inc., New Philadelphia, said his crew has been working since last Thursday. Guers said the work will probably continue for a couple of weeks.

Deer Lake Borough Council President David B. Crouse, who is in charge of the project, said that the lake will be refilled once the sediment has been removed, which could be within a month, weather permitting.

You Don't want to try during the week when they are working
Word is from Mr. Guers they will Throw You Out.
