My cousin has found some nice big ones in Arkansas, last time she was there was two springs ago. There is also a lake there that people find them by diving. I have found the Herkimer diamonds in Herkimer but that was sixty years ago when you could still dig and sift for them. Nowadays the Herkimers have to be dug out of hard rock and it is hard work.

well maybe at some of the mines, still plenty of private land where sifting is possible.
