If I saw that, I'd have made a u-turn & floored it - or at least run away! ;D I've always had a "thing" about spiders - they're right up there with leeches on my list. I'm glad you took the time to show the kids and save her, though!!!

Catch another one of those and send it to me in the mail. I would love to have one of those to go along with my scorpion who I named She-Ra.

Spiders are awesome! Thank you for letting her go.

Also, spider (as an animal totem who's crossed your path) wants to remind you that you can change your present situation. Spider is the weaver, the creator of new possibilities. Time to create a new phase in your life. You didn't catch spider, she caught you - to remind you you are on to something good and to take ahold of the opportunities.

p.s. Sorry for the impromptu animal totem reading...just popped into my head when I saw that beautiful spider and read that you had released her back into the desert.

Interesting temporary pet. Not my style though. :D Wouldn't want to hurt it but I don't think I could even touch that thing.

had one as a pet once long ago -- the not so dangerous ones are deeply misunderstood --their very helpful --now the dangerous types gotta go -- black window , brown recluse them babys can not live near me -- same as deadly snakes --they gotta go too --but the harmless ones are ok by me. --I can tell A from B most folks have never taken the time and learned how to===-so its just "kill em all" sad really .

Spiders are really neat creatures, I held one a long time, I don't have the desire to do it again. I am sure your girls enjoyed seeing the spider.

What kind of spider is it?. Tarantula yes, but what sub species. Our local wildlife guy has a small collection of them and he will be interested in this story, he even has an eight foot alligator, yes that's right an alligator here in a small village in England :laughing7:.
