New to N.E. MD and seeking guidance in locations etc..

Greetings all! I just happened on the site and am excited as I have been unable to do any hunting since moving to Maryland as I don't know anyone in the area, am unsure of locations, and so forth. I used to metal detect and search Indian artifacts in GA with a friend that was from there and could point out the trecks and such of the Civil War and we found some nice locations. So, now I have had mad withdrawal from my passion of digging in the dirt. Any and all insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

All I can really tell you is to find some public land and do a bit of scouting. Be safe. Good luck

Welcome, I would search out your nearest Historical Society, they should be a big help in that area.
