Civil War Bullet or No?

Could someone help me Identify this bullet? I think it might be Civil War but not sure.
I am still a newbie at this so I figure I ask someone that might know more about it.
found it about 9-10" deep.

I do not have a ruler or any other tool to measure, so I gave a size comparison (Quarter)

No it is not Civil War, 3rd picture clearly shows tiny raised lines for crimping (seating the bullet) in the 2 cannelure (rings) - post CW, late 1870's / early 1880's I do believe.

Thanks for that info Tedyoh. Dissapointed that it is not CW but at least i learned something. I would not have noticed the raised marks on the second ring if you have not pointed it out.

Oh well, I'll keep on digging :)

Yes, keep digging, the only CW bullet I found was in NE Ohio, no battles around here so you never know! I should mention, although copper jacket bullets are now king, they still make bullets like the one you found.
