Tootsie Toy Cars

Does anybody know anything about these Tootsie Toy Cars? I found an old one buried in my Husband's parents back yard. It's red and says "Wedge Dragster" underneath it. And i recently went to a yard sale and bought a little bag of these cars and found a cleaner car, the same one, in this bag along with some other Tootsie Toy Cars. The only thing the lady selling them told me were that they were a bunch of old cars - so nothing that would help me actually put a date on them. ANy ideas?

for the most part, the 40s and 50s for dates,

$2 to $3 to $5 or so a piece (depending on conditions and which ones they are).
