Can anybody tell me what this is?

I found this in my backyard. It's almost a salmon colored rock with purple crystals in it. What is it and is it cool enough to save? If its not special than I'm not attached to it. Thank you.

Maybe fluorite.
I collected some in Kentucky last year.
Is it cubed?
What state are you in?
Some are actually fluorescent under ultraviolet light.

It is not cubed. I looked at some fluorite and it didn't look like what I have. I'm in NE Ohio. I'll take some better pics tomorrow. Thanks for helping.

I have been finding that same color of rock in a creek I hunt. It flakes pretty easy and I think it is a type of Shale. I will be looking for crystals for now on.

Here are the pics I have been asked for. I could not get a good shot of the "purple colored crystal" I don't know what this is so that is why I am using quotes. I am not trying to mislead anyone with improper terms.
