Wow! I was thinking it must be florite until I saw the pics. But they do look like a quartz. Beautiful color! I think it is iron in the quartz that when heated (geologically) produces this color. Just what I've been told.

Thanks and yes it is iron influence or Fe2 and Fe3 in the area also smokey and optical clear along with asterations on many

And if any one wants i can show you how to get there urban sprawl will be soon closing this area and plenty of good material still available also shoral ,garnet and many colors of mica
