Pyromorphite?

This rock was in a friend's yard in SW MO. It might not have come from there. Anyone think it's Pyromorphite? Thanks.

Would need a better close up, but first thought is quartz. I see some "points" in there?

I'm in SE MO & we have a lot of it here. We call it druzy (?) quartz, but I think it the crystals are a dog tooth calcite. Looks like yours has been worn by weather or water. Here is a piece I have found.

Ya, I think you nailed it. The rock did have quartz like tiny crystals through out.
I had a picture of Pyromorphite and there was a resemblance. They have prismatic crystals. As the rock is still in Missouri I'll have to wait until my next visit to get a closeup. Calcite crystals are different from quartz. If it's a cave rock it's probably calcite. Missouri is a big cave.

So, your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to get a close up look and see which is what.

And Eu Citzen Your right too. A very crystalline appearance. I was offered the rock by my friend but it looked nice where it was so I passed.
