Found this rock in the stream in my backyard (North Central Connecticut). Probably nothing but a paperweight- but it really is beautiful. Just wondering what kind of rock it is :)

Natural Blue Quartz Chunks (Brazil) - This is beautiful Natural Blue Quartz from Brazil. This coloring is believed to be caused by very small Tourmaline, Rutile, or Zoisite inclusions within the Quartz. This beautiful variety of Quartz is mostly found in Austria, Brazil, and the US, and is often confused with Dumortierite and Blue Aventurine.

Thanks for that! :) I'd like to split it open- curious to see the inside. But I should probably let my curiosity rest and leave the beauty of it alone.

Something quartz related would be my guess.
