Has anyone come across blue wires in quartz? At first I thought that they were pieces of thread or a hair but I kept coming across them and could see where some were embedded in the quartz.They are very small and never very long. The picture of the gold wire I took and never realized that there was a blue wire in the bottom of the pic until I was looking at the picture.Any ideas?

HI Dano, I believe what you have is rutile in quartz and is often found in different colors.
