    All Types Of Treasure Hunting

    Identification help please.

    I found this while metal detecting for a lost ring. In an old flower bed. It's very heavy, non ferrous, about 3 pounds. I cleaned it up with a soft bristle brush. I've been told it's pyrite, but it doesn't really look like the pictures I've seen as far as the formations, and is silver not a brassy color. Please help!Click image for larger version.

    It looks more like lead to me but I didn't research it/ maybe when I am done with my post I will look further into yours/
