Tooth looking rock- complete with cavities

Found this rock ages ago, probably when I was a teenager. I thought it looked like a fossilized tooth at the time. Anyone have any ideas on this thing? Apologize for the lousy pictures.

I'd love it if it was some kind of fossil but I severely doubt it. I'm thinking just an interesting rock.

Thanks for the input. I'm sure you guys are right, I'll have to find an expert sometime and see if they can tell me what mineral(s) it is.

Your item appears to be a piece of sedimentary rock with some weathered calcite attached to it, it is not a fossil tooth.
