I'm curious to know more about the precise types of gems found in the Antelope Valley region. I've done a bit of research myself when I bega finding very interesting stones on the surface. Then, I began to take some amateur samples and I am very pleasantly surprised. I've got a very obvious slope of sediment, black sand and many, many stones. The colors are amazing. And different types of metals are found in different areas of the property. It seems these treasures have been untouched for years. Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing, or do I need a doctor?? In any case, I am 100% hopelessly addicted to hounding now.

The A.V. was my home for over 40 years. It's surrounded by hills . Get into the El Pasos and there is everything you could want to find!! Gold, silver, copper and opals. Kramer junction area and Randsburg have great areas to search. Agates, petrified wood . Good luck

I'm already thrilled in my own back yard!! I dont really even need to put shoes on. Lol. It's very exciting to be unearthing these beauties. I've always enjoyed collecting rocks. But I think I've finally graduated. I love Antelope Valley!!

I've already looked into it. I suppose they would be pretty cool to me. I still get made fun in large part for studying "boring" rocks. Lol
