Rock mineral?

Hi i found this while metal detecting the rock is 15 lbs look like there is like chunk of quartz in it mix with other rock not sure my metal detector give me gold sound and gold indicator on the lcd screen when i put real gold ring under my metal detector its sound exactly the same and on the lcd screen its the same indicator... and when i do metal detecting i always remove my ring to test the rock... i was thinking maybe conglomerate kind of rock but i cannot see any rock like mine on internet i saw maybe kimberlite rock that look like it but i dont think so... i live in canada quebec...in the north mountain place with alot of wood...i have found a lot of garnet and labradorite rock around that spot... i hope you can help just let me know if u want more pictures.

Looks granitoid to me. High levels of iron-minerals can fool the detector to give off a signal. Commonly known as hot rocks, which is likely what you got there!

Well actually i have found this rock in a spot where we found gold bearing rock.. with a loupe of x10 you can see the fine gold all over it im still getting rock from that place that still make my detector sound they all sound the same and same indicator i open few of them since i dont have equipment to crush rock and with a hammer i can waste some of it here some pictures of the few rock i open View attachment 1501564 View attachment 1501565 View attachment 1501566 View attachment 1501566 View attachment 1501567

If you can waste a piece, I'd crush and pan it. Or even have an assay done.
