Just rocks. Where are you located? Maybe you should go to a museum with a good display of authenticated native American artifacts to learn what worked by man stone artifacts really look like. Small local museums are sometimes not that good since they sometimes display rocks that local folks think are artifacts when they are not. Some areas do have local museums with fantastic displays of real artifacts.

Those are not birdstones, just rocks, no signs on them of being worked by man just mother nature.

Yes, Birdstones are artifacts but nothing you have posted here is either a Birdstone or an artifact. Google Birdstone and check out the pictures.

My grandmother's farm, in the family since 1840 and still in the family is only 2 miles below the MI border in northern OH, and many beautiful NA atifacts have been found there over years of plowing. It is right below Hillsdale county, MI. I am sure there must be great NA artifacts found in your area but those items you show are not artifacts. I just looked up museums in southern MI and the MI History Center in Lansing has a section on prehistoric MI and artifacts from that era. I suggest you go over there and study these artifacts and educate yourself in what they look like.

It is a rock shaped sort of like a bird but natural. I see that some have suggested going to a local museum and that is the best advice you can get. There are certainly native american artifacts in your area that you haven't been lucky enough to find yet...keep looking and good luck!

A good imagination is a wonderful thing. A much needed attribute to treasure hunting. However, like others have said these appear to be natural rocks. I have many plain old rocks that are interesting to look at. I've even posted a few over the years just to find out that's all they were, including a supposed fake artifact. Nothing wrong with that. It's part of learning. Don't be discouraged. Keep at it. Live and learn and good luck.

While these rocks you post resemble the shapes of creatures, or whatever, they are just rocks. People here are helping you by telling you that. It's up to you to learn, accept reality, and educate yourself. Thanks for sharing.

No it is just a rock, it is your imagination making it a birdstone, point out where on it you see signs of being worked by man.

Do you have any way to look at the rock with magnification? Even a 10X loupe should show evidence of someone working the stone. You can get a phone app to magnify and take a picture, post it here for an honest scrutiny. We hope more than anything that the stone was worked by primitive civilization, lets get to the bottom of it together, post close-ups.

I will. The edges do show chipping or flaking what eer u call it. I have seen other birdstones. This one is made from the same type of rock that many are. Is there a special site that i am not aware of?. Are the images on google fake.? When i get home i will take closer pics and post them.
