Silver colored Stone

Hello all, just wondering your thoughts on this one? It shows blue and gold interior colors in the last pic. I weighed it on my 300g coin scale and it weighs over that. It feels extremely heavy for its size. Thank you for the help.

Hello all, I do not think it is Pyrite. I have never seen, even online pics, silver Pyrite.

Silver pyrites do exist. As EU says, streak test and hardness. I does appear to be a pyrite however.

Hello all, here is the streak test. Also, I did a scratch test with the same Leatherman and it scratched the tool. I included a different angle of the blue and gold part and also looks like rust. Tha k you for the help.

Seems like Pyrite/Marcasite to me.

Pyrite, marcasite or loellingite would be my guesses. Depends on what area it came from. For instance, you would NEVER find loellingite in Louisiana, but could find it in Maine.

Looks like a phyllite/schist to me, but with the the lighting is impossible to tell. Can you take a picture in natural light? Looks like you took the pic indoors with flash which obscures almost all of the details.

Pyrite?

Im pretty sure I have found the same rock, i live in arkansas and have collected about 30 pounds of this. Please keep me updated on what it could be. Visit my post and see if it looks the same to you

Check my post out. Seems i have foumd same rock. Ive came up with hematite/hematite in schist. Not positive
