GEM IDENTIFICATION NEEDED PLEASE!!!!!!!

Hi, so I am an Indian Artifact guy. Love points. Someone in the forum I post in said, a month ago, I might find some rare earth minerals too. He was referring to a honey hole for quartz arrowheads I found. I happened upon a very natural shaped and various colored stone today. Its has layers. Looked like quartz when I picked it up. The layers look so natural. Looks like colorful minerals crystallized around quartz or with quartz. I posted many pics. Please help!!!!!!!!!! It was found nowhere near houses, roads, but in a very pronounced arrowhead area, where I found tens of full points in a two month span. A workshop area. Please help!!!!!!! Thank you. Any other photos you need angles with lights please help me identify. Thank You

I agree....melted marble. Just a thought.....not sure of that by any means.

It looks like glass. An old piece of glass that either got tumbled thru water or somehow melted.

A marble would be my first guess.

The only thing I could remotely think of in a natural specimen would be a piece of agate that has smoothed off over time, but I doubt it.

It almost looks like those glass pieces you find in an aquarium that are flattened out, but I think its too old for that.

I'm also going to guess melted glass. I haven't seen natural rocks in that combination of colors. It's cool though.

Agree, a melted marble. Post it in the marble section of this forum there is a fella named cheese that could possibly even tell you what kind of marble it is.
