How Much is an aluminum can worth?

I realize all cans are different and the price of aluminum fluctuates with the market but, what would your average can be worth now? Thanks in advance.

31.4 alum cans to a pound. Alum cans by me are .67 a pound so 2 cents each.

Chuck, just took my alum cans to the scarp yard 2 days ago.. Were 75 cents a pound by me.. Came out with 20.30 total..

took my dads cans in that he had for almost a year 128 lbs and got 81 centa a pound for them

30 cents a pound here in Russell ks. sure would be nice to get a price like what you guys get without having to drive very far, the next closest yard in 45 miles, so not real far, but it would be worth it for 20 or 30 cents a pound more. The guy here in town also just got busted for the second time accepting steel pipe that belonged to kansas gas service, one more time they will shut him down, and supposedly the pipe was clearly marked kansas gas service.

Worst experience in my life was when I helped a friend of mine load up his empties into the back of a van. We drove about 20 minutes to the recyclers, on a hot summer day, and these cans had been sitting in his back yard for months. We both had our heads out the window the whole time.
