At pro pin pointer sticking

Took my AT PRO back out to the the lake this morning when the control box gets about a foot under water in having problems with my p.p button sticking ...
It started last week. .. seems to be getting worse...
Doesn't do it on dry land...
Anyone else has issues with this problem before I have to bite the bullet and send it to
Garland TX
After each water hunt I wash it sheen to get the grit off
So it's not from improper maintenance
