Why even TRY to recover anything? The state gestapo..errr..archies want everything to deteriorate where it is, undisturbed and unappreciated by the public who pays these worthless bums salaries.

As I've said before - the way to get these guys off our backs is to lobby the state legislatures to cut their budgets.

I hate to see historic preservation take some hits since they do a lot of worthwhile things, but they started this one.
